PLIDCO Shear+Plug Metal-To-Metal Line Plugging Solution

Ultra-High-Temperature, High-Pressure Line Plugging Solution

When it's critical that you keep your plant running; when other line-plugging solutions have failed; when you need to install a valve where one doesn't exist - there's only one option to turn to. The PLIDCO Shear+Plug is the industry standard for ultra-high-temperature, high-pressure line plugging solutions.

What is a PLIDCO Shear+Plug

The PLIDCO Shear+Plug is a metal-to-metal plug-off device that allows for maintenance and repair of ultra-high-temperature, high-pressure pipelines. Designed to isolate a system for repairs, the PLIDCO Shear+Plug provides a safe plug-off technique that negates the need for system shut down providing your maintenance team a safe environment to repair a line or install a valve all while keeping your line operational.

How a Shear+Plug Works

The PLIDCO Shear+Plug works by inserting a temporary (or permanent) "gate valve" in a line where one otherwise didn't exist. A double acting hydraulic cylinder accomplishes the shear through, positions the sealing blind plate, while also retracting it ensuring no shell cutter is used to enter the pipe, eliminating a myriad of potential problems. By creating a metal-to-metal seal, with an injected redundant sealant, the PLIDCO Shear+Plug redirects the flow of the pipeline allowing for uninterrupted service - preventing shutdowns while creating a safe work environment for your maintenance teams.

Where and When to use a Shear+Plug

PLIDCO Shear+Plugs have been successfully used on boiler feed, catalyst, high octane gas, fuel, and superheated steam lines in the power generation, refining, steel, chemical, and paper plants around the world. The Shear+Plug is the ideal line-plugging solution for ultra-high-temperature, high-pressure lines where pressures range from 600-2200 psi, and temperatures exceeded 600F.

Utilize Shear+Plug on Your Pipeline

Deployed successfully where other solutions have failed, the PLIDCO Shear+Plug has a 100% success rate at 1-8" applications (ANSI Class 900). Don't waste your time with the other guys, plug your high-temperature, high-pressure line the first time with the PLIDCO Shear+Plug.

FDA Approved Isopropyl Liquid Hand Sanitizer May 9, 2020 In partnership with Zircon Industries, Kelley Industrial Sales has sourced a limited supply of American made, FDA approved isopropyl liquid hand sanitizer. Steri-Touch by Zircon Industries is an FDA approved liquid sanitizer formulated to remove germs and viruses associated with the common cold, flu, and novel coronavirus from hands and other skin surfaces. Intended for industrial and commercial use, Steri-Touch liquid hand sanitizers are available for sale in a gallon, 5-gallon pail, and 55-gallon barrel containers. What is a hand sanitizer and how does it work? A hand sanitizer is defined as a liquid, gel, or foam - typically made up of an alcohol-based chemical blend - that is used to decrease the infectious agents (viruses, germs, other microbes) on a person's hands. Alcohol-based blends often contain a combination of ethanol, n-proponal, or isopropyl alcohol at concentrations ranging from 60-95% alco

The Hard Facts about Hardfacing

What is Hardfacing? Hardfacing is a metalworking process of applying tougher metals, high-temperature alloys, ceramics and other overlays to base metals to enhance standard wear, corrosion, hardness and other physical and chemical characteristics of the base metal. When to Hardface? Hardfacing can be applied at during all life-cycles of a fabricated or machines part. Commonly, hardfacing is applied On new parts to increase wear On older, worn-down surface back to tolerance On functional equipment to extend the life of fabricated components as part of maintenance program How is the Hardfacing applied? There are a variety of methods to apply hardfacing. No one method is superior to others, rather the method is recommended based on the intended purpose of the hardfacing. Some of the more common welding methods include: Shield Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) Oxyfuel Welding (OFW) Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) Electrical Welding (ESW) P

Cleaner, More Efficient Gas Turbines Start with Citrikleen and Citrkleen HD

Cleaner, More Efficient Gas Turbines Start with Citrikleen and Citrkleen HD As natural gas becomes a more cost-effective fuel to power America’s power needs, proper maintenance of gas turbines and their compressors is more critical than ever to ensure efficient, effective, profitable, and uninterrupted power production. The Problem During the general operation of gas turbines, large quantities of air and other particulates pass through the compressors. While this air is filtered, small quantities of dust, aerosols, and water pass through the filters and end up as deposits on the blades. Over time, these deposits decrease the air flow of the compressor resulting in decreased performance and output of the gas turbines. The Solution Citrikleen and Citrikleen HD are concentrated, biodegradable heavy-duty solvents trusted by heavy industry, aerospace, refineries/petrochemical plants and the military to degrease their hardest to clean equipment.
